Xu Jinglei Sweeps the Fourth Chinese Film
Media Awards Beijing Portal 2004-04-26 13:55:23  Chinese mainland actress Xu Jinglei has swept the fourth Chinese Film Media Awards, landing a total of three awards. She won awards for best screenwriter, new director and most popular actress. Mainland star Ge You and Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau pick up the best actor awards for their respective regions. The best actress awards went to Cecilia Cheung and Zhang Ziyi.  Most of the guests attending the awards were directors from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan, along with three South Korean counterparts. Meanwhile, the ceremony went along in a joyous and friendly atmosphere, further boosting relations between the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Editor Dany |
