Famous Chinese actress and filmmaker Xu Jinglei will travel to Spain with her second film "A Letter from An Unknown Woman" to compete for the Best New Director prize at the San Sebastian International Film Festival. The film will be screened in mid-September during the week-long festival. The film cost 20 million yuan, or nearly 2 and a half million US dollars to make and is also scheduled to be dubbed in Japanese, English and Spanish in August. The touching movie is based on the same name novel by renowned Austrian writer Stefan Zweig, which tells a story of a woman who devotes her life to a secret love.
